Instructions have been given to ensure that the technical condition of buses is in good condition, seats are in good condition, window glasses are in good condition and fire safety equipment is available. It has also been asked to maintain cleanliness in bus stations and buses. Special incentive amount will be given to drivers and operators (including contract and outsourcing) who do excellent work during the festival period. On driving an average of 300 km per day, you will get Rs 3600 at the rate of Rs 360 per day.
On completing 10 days of full duty and meeting the prescribed standards, an additional honorarium of Rs 4500 will be provided at the rate of Rs 450 per day and 55 paise per kilometer additional honorarium for exceeding the prescribed standard.
