The mood of the stock market has deteriorated once again. Selling by foreign investors is the only reason reducing the enthusiasm of the market. On Tuesday, Nifty fell 166 points and closed at 25,597. SGX Nifty is up 70 points, indicating recovery in the market. Meanwhile, on Wednesday the Dow Jones Industrial Index (DOW) gained almost half a percent, breaking its two-day decline. From a technical and psychological point of view, the 25,500 level provides important support to Nifty.
Talking about the influencing factors, on Tuesday, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold ₹1,067 crore in the cash market, while there was a combined net selling of ₹7,761 crore in cash, shares and index futures. The dollar index closed above 100, its highest level in six months. US bond yields are at a four-week high of 4.1%. Amidst all these factors, analysts have selected some stocks for traders under Zee Business’ special program “Traders Diary”.
