Many candidates are facing technical issues while downloading the admit card for NEET UG 2026 re-exam. Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified the situation and said that some students are facing problems due to server and technical problems, but a technical team is continuously working to solve this problem.
NTA informed that the admit cards for NEET UG re-exam, which is to be held on June 21, 2026, were released on June 14. After this announcement, a large number of students used the official portal simultaneously, due to which the traffic on the website suddenly increased. As a result, many candidates are facing problems like server errors, slow website running, login page not loading and session timeout.
According to the agency, till now more than 4 lakh candidates have successfully downloaded their admit cards. However, some candidates are still facing problems in accessing the portal or getting the admit card. NTA has assured that all eligible candidates will receive their admit cards on time.
**NTA’s appeal**
NTA has appealed to the students not to panic and keep logging in to the official website from time to time for updates. The agency said that its technical team is continuously working to increase the capacity of the servers and ensure that the portal runs smoothly. NEET UG re-exam to be held on June 21 will be from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. Candidates appearing for the examination are required to carry a printed copy of their admit card and a valid photo identity card to the examination centre. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center without admit card.
**What is the information contained in the admit card?**
The admit card contains information like name of the candidate, roll number, address of the examination centre, reporting time and important guidelines related to the examination. Therefore, candidates are advised to check all the information given on the admit card carefully after downloading it. Meanwhile, NTA has also given information about an important rule related to bank verification. According to the agency, some candidates may need to update their bank account information on the portal. In such cases, the load on the server may increase, causing the process to take longer. **This step is important**
NTA has advised the candidates to keep all the necessary documents and information related to the bank ready before logging in. This will complete the verification process faster and there will be no problem while downloading the admit card. For bank account verification, candidates should have their full name (as per bank records), bank account number and a copy of canceled check ready. The agency says that providing correct and accurate information will avoid any problems in the later stages of the process.
