JAC Exam Datesheet Released: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the datesheet for Class 8, Class 9 and Intermediate (Class 11) examinations.
This news is very important for the students, because now the preparation for the exam can be planned properly. It has been clarified by the board that the examination of all subjects will be taken on OMR sheet.
Along with this, students will also be given additional time of 15 minutes to read the question paper. Jack has appealed to all schools, colleges and students to follow all the instructions related to the examination.
class 8 exam schedule
Class 8 exam will be held in two shifts on 28 February and 2 March 2026.
28 February 2026, 1st shift: Hindi A, Hindi B and English
Second Shift: Mathematics and Science, 2 March 2026
First Shift: Social Science and Other Languages
There will be multiple choice (MCQ) questions of 40 marks in each subject.
Apart from this, internal assessment of 10 marks will be done at the school level.
Admit Card: Will be available from 20th February 2026.
Date of Online Upload of Internal Assessment Marks: 5th March to 15th March 2026.
Class 11 (intermediate) exam information
Class 11 examination will be held in two shifts from February 25 to February 27, 2026.
First Shift, Timings: 10:45 AM to 12:00 / 1:00 PM
Second Shift, Time: 2:00 PM to 3:15 / 5:15 PM
Subjects: Core Language, Physics, Chemistry, Accountancy, Biology and other optional subjects.
There will be objective questions of 40 marks in each subject. The examination of some subjects will also be of 80 or 120 marks.
Last date for uploading internal assessment marks: 2 March 2026.

The exam is not far away, so students should prepare as per the syllabus and practice filling the OMR sheet. Time management and focus on revision can be the key to success.
