National Testing Agency (NTA) has canceled the NEET 2026 exam after the paper leak. Given this, it is very important to understand where this paper leak actually took place. According to sources, the paper leak started from a paper preparation agency in Jaipur. After that, the paper first came out – or was leaked – in Nashik, Maharashtra.
**How the paper leak spread across the country**
According to sources, the paper went from Nashik to Haryana, then to Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and then reached Sikar. Meanwhile, names of two big coaching centers of Sikar have come to light in connection with this case. During the SOG investigation, it was revealed that the paper was forwarded multiple times from the mobile phones of the detained students.
**Action after complaints of students**
NTA initiated action after complaints were filed by several students. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) sent information to the Rajasthan government, after which the Special Operations Group (SOG) started investigation. Now this case will be investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
**The paper was printed in Jaipur**
It is worth noting that the name of the agency that prepared the paper has not been made public yet. The NEET exam paper was printed in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
