The cause of death of actress Shefali Jariwala is not yet clear and her body has been taken for post-mortem. Mumbai Police gave this information on Saturday.
Police said, “Police had received information about this late at 1 o’clock on Friday night.” His body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. The cause of his death is not yet clear.
A ‘forensic’ unit and a Mumbai Police team reached the actress’s apartment in the Golden Rage-Y building, an official said. Jariwala (42) became famous with the song “Kaanta Laga”.
Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, took her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb.
A hospital source said, “She (Shefali Jariwala) was brought to the hospital on Friday night at around 11.15 pm. The doctors on duty declared him dead.
According to media reports, Shefali died of a heart attack, although no official statement has come yet from the family or their representatives.
Shefali gained popularity by participating in reality shows like dance show “Nach Baliye” and later “Bigg Boss 13” with her husband.
Shefali became popular in 2002 with the song “Kaanta Laga”, which was a remix of an old song by Lata Mangeshkar from the 1972 film Samadhi.
