New Delhi, April 15 (IANS). Due to rising temperature and pollution in summer, the problem of spots, acne and dull skin on the face has become common. Despite spending thousands of rupees on expensive beauty products and parlor treatments, we are not able to get permanent glow. In such a situation, Ayurveda recommends the use of simple, cheap and effective home remedy, aloe vera and turmeric face pack.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, both aloe vera and turmeric are extremely beneficial for the skin. Their mixture deeply nourishes the skin, reduces inflammation and gets rid of acne and blemishes. This natural face pack is very effective for skin care in summer. With its regular use, blemishes and spots are reduced, the skin remains hydrated and the natural glow comes back.
Aloe vera is rich in vitamins A, C, E and antioxidants. It provides moisture to the skin, reduces irritation and inflammation. Also provides relief from sunburn. At the same time, turmeric contains an element called curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It reduces acne, blemishes, wrinkles and brightens the skin.
The face pack made by mixing both detoxifies the skin, removes dead skin, cleans pores and brings natural glow. It also helps reduce hyperpigmentation and signs of aging.
The special thing is that this pack can be easily made at home. For this, take 2 tablespoons of fresh aloe vera gel. Add half teaspoon turmeric powder to it. Alternatively you can also add 1 teaspoon honey or curd. Mix it well and prepare a paste.
Now after cleaning the face, apply this pack for 10-15 minutes. Then wash with lukewarm water. Using it 2-3 times a week makes the face shiny and soft.
This homemade pack of aloe vera and turmeric can prove to be a better option than expensive products for skin care in summer. However, take some precautions like people with sensitive skin should use it with caution.
