Malda, February 28 (IANS). A health check-up camp was organized at Rajmahal Railway Station on Saturday by Divisional Railway Hospital, Malda under Malda Division of Eastern Railway. This camp was conducted under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Manish Kumar Gupta and supervision of Anupa Ghosh, Chief Medical Superintendent of Divisional Railway Hospital, Malda.

Railway employees and their families enthusiastically participated in this camp organized by the team of Health and Family Welfare Department of Divisional Railway Hospital, Malda. A total of more than 50 employees and their families were present for the health checkup.

Various necessary medical check-ups including height, weight, pulse, blood pressure, body mass index (BMI) and blood tests of the participants were conducted during the camp. The special thing was that the results of all the tests were made available on the spot. Due to this, the people who got tested immediately got information about their health condition.

This initiative was organized under the preventive health care policy of Eastern Railway, which aims at early detection of diseases, timely treatment and strengthening the overall health of the employees. This is being considered an important step towards keeping the workforce healthy and active through regular health checkups.

This effort of Eastern Railway, Malda Division reflects its commitment towards employee welfare and public service. Through such camps, continuous efforts are being made towards ensuring a healthy, safe and productive work environment across the network.
