New Delhi, November 7 (IANS). In our busy lives, we often get lost in the confusion of the outside world. In such a situation, meditation helps us to look within ourselves, calm the mind and control the body.
‘Meditation’ has been an ancient tradition in Sanatan Dharma, which our sages used to control the senses. Meditation also helps in removing problems like mental stress. In Indian yoga and philosophy, meditation is considered an essential part of spiritual progress and achieving ultimate peace.
The Ministry of AYUSH has described meditation as an act of continuous contemplation and contemplation. According to him, practicing it daily keeps a person away from negative emotions.
Also fear, anger, depression and anxiety go away. Meditation helps in developing positive emotions and keeps the mind calm and stable. This increases concentration, memory, clarity of thoughts and morale. Regular meditation refreshes the body and mind by giving them adequate rest.
To do this, first of all sit in Sukhasana in a comfortable and quiet environment. After this, keep the spine, neck and head in a straight line, close both your eyes and meditate. Stay in this position and posture for some time and try to empty your mind of thoughts.
Its most important thing is that meditation does not have any side effects. You can do this at any time, although Brahma Muhurta i.e. morning time is considered the best. At that time the surrounding environment remains calm, which makes it easier to meditate. Children, youth, elderly, and people of any age group can take advantage of it.
Advice for beginners – Choose a quiet place, take a comfortable posture, breathe deeply and focus your mind on the present. Increase practice gradually. Experts say that just by meditating for 10-15 minutes daily, miraculous changes can be seen.
