New Delhi, January 12 (IANS). In today’s busy life, most of the people stay inside home or office, spend time in AC and closed rooms. Due to this, Vitamin D deficiency in the body has become very common. The good thing is that the first sunlight in the morning acts as a natural energy booster for you.

Spending just 15-20 minutes daily in the morning sunlight provides many benefits to both body and mind. It increases Vitamin D, strengthens bones, keeps good mood, boosts immunity and maintains freshness and energy throughout the day.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, starting the day with the first rays of the sun brings many positive changes in the body. It is not only the best source of Vitamin D, but also speeds up metabolism, improves blood circulation and increases vitality throughout the day. The ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun are most effective in the morning, producing vitamin D in the skin. Apart from strengthening bones, this vitamin increases immunity, keeps good mood and regulates sleep.

According to experts, light morning sunlight activates the Agni (digestive power) of the body, which speeds up metabolism and maintains energy throughout the day. It improves blood circulation, due to which oxygen and nutrients reach the entire body better.

Go out in the morning sunlight for 10-20 minutes daily. This increases serotonin hormone, which reduces stress and gives a feeling of happiness. Experts recommend that sunlight exposure between 7 and 10 a.m. is the safest and most beneficial, as UV rays are less harmful at this time.

According to experts, taking morning sunlight is especially beneficial in winter. This is simple, free and most effective way. Including this in your daily routine will not only improve your physical health but will also provide mental freshness.
