New Delhi, 18 September (IANS). In Ayurveda, diet has been considered the biggest medicine. As our body takes food, it becomes its health and mind. This is the reason that Ayurveda advises us to eat fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

The biggest advantage of eating seasonal fruits is that they are easy to digest. For example, in summer, watermelons, melon and common body give coolness and hydration to the body. At the same time, orange, guava and seasonal berries increase immunity in winter.

In the rainy season, berries and Sitaphal protect the body from digestive problems, that is, the fruits of every season have been given to us according to the needs of the same time. This is the reason that Ayurveda says that seasonal food is the most nutritious.

In today’s run -of -the -mill life, people often like to have processed food or packaged breakfast. They only get calories to the body, not life -giving energy. Conversely, if we consume seasonal fruits in breakfast, then we get plenty of vitamins, minerals, fiber and natural sweetness. For example, eating papaya or apple on an empty stomach in the morning activates the digestive system and remains lightness and freshness throughout the day.

The biggest quality of fruits is the fiber present in them. It keeps digestion right, excludes toxic elements from the body and keeps hunger balanced.

In addition, fruits have natural sweetness, which gradually gives energy to the body and keeps blood sugar balanced. This is the reason that after eating the fruit, we do not feel lethargy, but both mind and brain remain active.

According to Ayurveda, fruits are not only food, but also medicine. They help in balanceing body defects (vata, bile and phlegm). For example, oranges and pomegranate balance bile, banana and chiku calms Vata, while pear and watermelon reduce phlegm. Thus fruits correct our health overall.

For this reason, we should make a simple change in our routine, except for processed and packaged breakfast, adopt seasonal fruits. It not only makes our body light and energetic, but also increases mental clarity and positivity.
