New Delhi, January 25 (IANS). Today’s lifestyle and eating habits have become such that skin related diseases have become a big problem. Nutritious food is becoming less and less in the food plate.
Wrong food intake over a long period of time is the main cause of skin diseases, although not every skin problem is the same and neither is the same treatment suitable for every situation. Therefore, treatment of skin diseases like itching, red rashes and rashes is not possible just by applying paste, but its real root lies inside the body.
Ayurveda does not consider skin diseases as mere problems visible on the surface, but considers them to be a sign of imbalance going on within. That is why treatment is selected based on the condition, depth and continuity. Some problems occur in the early stages, where simple external care is sufficient. Some conditions are more severe or recur and require intensive treatment.
In Ayurveda, skin related diseases are linked to impurity of blood and imbalance of pitta. The effect of both of these is directly visible on the skin and its treatment is not just a coating, but internal cleansing. Creams, lotions and allergy medicines can stop the disease for a time, but later this problem recurs. Some measures for external care and internal care for skin related diseases have been suggested in Ayurveda.
The first is the use of oil. If you are troubled by mild itching and fungus, then apply Bhim Kapoor mixed with coconut oil. This will reduce itching and the fungal infection will also not spread. This recipe works for beginners.
Secondly, use of herbal oil. If there is a problem of chronic itching, fungal infection, ringworm or rashes, then a paste of coconut oil, neem oil, Bhima camphor, Manjistha powder, Haritaki powder and turmeric powder should be applied before sleeping. This paste will help in reducing itching and redness.
Purification of blood is essential for internal care. Khadirarishta can be consumed for blood purification. Khadirarishta is easily available in the market and consume it at night. Be sure to consult a doctor before consuming Khadirarishta.
