Ayurveda also recommends a similar small but very beneficial remedy, which is called Ushapan. Drink lukewarm water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This easy method is beneficial for the entire body.
The Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India advises to include Ushapan in daily routine and also enumerates the benefits derived from it. This keeps the stomach clean, the digestive system strong, dirt gets removed from the body and the mind feels refreshed.
