Everyone knows about the Sudarshan plant which grows in less space in the house, but is unaware of its properties. As beautiful as the Sudarshan plant looks, it is equally miraculous. Sudarshan is beneficial in everything from joint pain to ear pain.
Sudarshan is a plant which bears conch-like flowers. The flowers, leaves, and roots of the plant are also rich in medicinal properties, and have been used medicinally in Ayurveda for centuries. In Ayurveda, Sudarshan is considered a plant of hot nature, but if it is used after consulting a doctor, you will be surprised to know about its properties.
The problem of white discharge is common in women. This problem cannot be cured even by taking medicine, but if Sudarshan’s stem is ground in milk and taken, then problems like leucorrhea can also be cured. Due to this problem, women start having back pain and weakness.
Sudarshan also works like a medicine for skin related problems. If you are suffering from skin disease then grinding its leaves and applying it on the affected area provides relief. The paste of its leaves can also be applied on wounds. The antibiotic properties present in the leaves help in quick healing of wounds.
Even if fever comes after feeling weakness again and again, the stem of Sudarshan can be used. In Ayurveda, it is advised to boil the stem of the plant and make a decoction and drink it. However, use the decoction only after medical advice. Even if walking has become difficult due to joint or muscle pain, Sudarshan is still beneficial. Sudarshan can also be used in the problem of arthritis. For this, grind the root of the plant and apply the paste on the joints and apply it. This will provide relief from pain and also provide relief from swelling. Apart from this, decoction of leaves can also be taken on medical advice.
