Viparitakarani Mudra is a yoga pose in which one lies with the legs raised towards the wall and the body is kept in an inverted position. This posture helps in moving the prana energy upwards and benefits various parts of the body due to the effect of gravity.
According to experts, its regular practice provides many benefits to the body. This posture first improves the digestive system. It massages the stomach organs, due to which food gets digested well and digestion process becomes stronger. It is also very effective in removing the problem of constipation. Provides relief from constipation caused by sitting for a long time or irregular eating habits, as the posture increases blood circulation in the intestines.
This posture is also beneficial for mental health. Practice increases mental alertness, calms the mind and improves concentration. Due to less stress and anxiety, the person feels more fit. It is also special for skin and hair. Viparitakarani Mudra improves the skin because the increased blood flow to the face and head provides better nutrition.
