Indian Railways has brought a big gift to East and North-East India by expanding the facilities for passengers. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has informed that soon 9 new Amrit Bharat Express trains will be started operating from West Bengal and Assam. The running of these trains will directly benefit not only the passengers of these two states but also lakhs of people traveling in other parts of the country. The objective of Railways through these trains is to reduce the pressure on those routes where the number of passengers is high.
States of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and South India will get direct and better rail connectivity.
The network of these new trains has been kept quite wide so that different parts of the country can be connected into one thread. These trains will provide better connectivity starting from West Bengal and Assam to major states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. As per the proposed routes, important routes like Kolkata to Anand Vihar Terminal and Guwahati to Rohtak are included in it. With the running of new trains on these routes, the journey of passengers going to Delhi, Haryana and Mumbai will become much easier.
These 9 new trains will cover about 500 railway stations, the journey of the passengers of Eastern India will be pleasant.
As per the plan of the railway administration, around 500 stations will be covered by the operation of these nine Amrit Bharat Express trains. Its biggest benefit will be to residents of Eastern and North-Eastern India, who often had to rely on limited options for long distance travel. The introduction of these trains will strengthen passenger facilities and connectivity across the country, and will also ensure comfortable travel at low fares for the common man.
