In view of the ongoing security situation in the Middle East, Akasa Air has made major changes in its international flights. The airline has canceled all its flights to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and UAE for March 3, 2026. This decision will have a direct impact on those travelers who were going to travel to these Gulf countries for work or leisure. The company has clarified that the safety of passengers is their first priority and they are constantly monitoring the situation.

On which routes will flights be canceled and what facilities will the passengers get?

According to the information released by the airline, flights will not operate for these major cities on March 3:

Saudi Arabia: Jeddah (JED) and Riyadh (RUH)
UAE: Abu Dhabi (AUH)
Queue: Doha (DOH)
Kuwait: Kuwait City (KWI)

The airline has given two options to passengers who had booked tickets for travel till March 7, 2026. Passengers can take a full refund of their ticket or change the date of their journey without any additional charges. No change fee or fare difference will be charged as informed by the airline.

Akasa Air has advised passengers to check the status of their flight online before going to the airport. The airline is sharing the latest information on its website and social media. After reviewing the situation, the next official update will be issued by 6 PM on March 2, 2026.
