In Pakistan’s Balochistan province, security forces have carried out the biggest and most decisive action against terrorists so far. After the sudden increase in terrorist activities in this area in the last few days, the army took charge and took fierce retaliatory action. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has confirmed in Quetta that security forces have killed a large number of terrorists in a major operation, which has created panic in the area.

In the last 40 hours, security forces conducted a major ‘clean sweep’ operation, selectively targeted 145 terrorists.

According to information shared by Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, security forces have killed 145 terrorists in an intensive operation within the last 40 hours. The operation was focused in areas where terrorists had recently carried out dastardly attacks on civilians and security personnel. Due to excellent coordination between the army and local security agencies, many hideouts of terrorists have also been destroyed. The government has made it clear that this operation will continue with the same intensity until the last terrorist is eliminated.

Government’s strict stance after BLA attacks, said – those challenging the state’s writ will be eliminated

This military action is a reaction to the recent horrific attacks carried out by the ‘Balochistan Liberation Army’ (BLA) in which terrorists killed dozens of innocent people by deboarding them from buses and checking ID cards. These attacks shocked the entire Pakistan. In response to this, the government and the army have taken this step by adopting the policy of ‘zero tolerance’. Chief Minister Bugti said in clear words that those who have shed innocent blood will not be spared under any circumstances and the state will use all its power.

High alert issued in entire Balochistan, instructions to intelligence agencies to keep a close watch on suspicious activities

After this major action, security arrangements have been extremely tightened in the entire Balochistan province and high alert has been declared. The deployment of security forces has been increased in other sensitive areas including Quetta. Intelligence agencies have been instructed to keep a close watch on suspicious activities so that terrorists cannot take any retaliatory action. The administration has also appealed to the general public to be alert and immediately inform the security forces about any suspicious object or person.
