In Pakistan’s Balochistan province, security forces have carried out the biggest and most decisive action against terrorism so far. In this special operation that has been going on for the last 40 hours, the army and security forces have killed 145 terrorists. This action has been taken in response to the increased terrorist activities in recent times, in which security forces targeted terrorist hideouts based on accurate intelligence. This operation is being considered a major step towards restoring peace in the area.

Security forces launched the most gruesome operation in the last 40 hours, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed the killing of 145 terrorists.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti shared the information about this major success during an important press conference in Quetta. He said that the security agencies and the army have carried out this operation with excellent coordination. According to the Chief Minister, elements challenging the security of the state are being dealt with strictly. He said in clear words that those who try to disturb the peace of the state through violence will have the same fate. The administration has ensured that the safe havens of the terrorists are completely destroyed so that they are not able to regroup.

High alert in the entire province, security agencies and army jointly carried out major action to foil the nefarious plans of terrorists.

After the elimination of terrorists on such a large scale, security arrangements have been tightened throughout Balochistan. ‘High alert’ is in force across the province to prevent any retaliatory action or untoward incident. The deployment of security forces has been increased in major cities, government establishments and sensitive areas. Officials say that this operation was not limited to killing terrorists only, but its aim was to break their entire network and supply chain. The killed terrorists also included many suspects who were involved in attacks on security forces and civilians for some time.

Those who play with the security of the state will not be spared at any cost, the government made it clear that strict action will continue till peace is restored.

The stand of the government and the army regarding this operation is very clear. The administration has given the message that such strict steps will continue to be taken in future also for national security and safety of citizens. Chief Minister Bugti praised the bravery of the security forces and said that this war will continue until terrorism is completely eliminated from the province. At present, search operations are still going on in the affected areas so that the remaining suspects can also be caught.
