Before the Bihar elections, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant praised the state’s change on Saturday. On reaching Patna, Sawant appreciated the significant changes in Bihar, especially the magnificent airport here, which fulfills international standards according to him.

Sawant told reporters, “I have come to Bihar for the first time during the election. I saw how much Bihar has changed … I felt as if I had come to an international airport.” Praising Bihar, Sawant also told that he would stay in Bihar for two days and would talk to Sawant party workers during his visit.

Sawant said, “I am in Bihar for two days for the campaign campaign, which is today and tomorrow … I will also talk to party workers in the state.” While discussing his plans with journalists, Sawant said that he is confident that the public will bring back the BJP government to power in the state.

Sawant said, “Certainly, the people of Bihar will demand the return of the government with double engine.” During his visit, the Chief Minister of Goa reacted to Rahul Gandhi’s comments, who earlier said that democracy in India is in danger and expressed his support for those standing against this threat. Sawant replied that the most dangerous phase for democracy was seen in the Congress era.

He emphasized that Bihar and the whole country are benefiting from focusing on the infrastructure and human resource development of the present government under Modi’s leadership. Savant said, “I would say that the biggest threat was in Congress time … Now Modi ji’s support is the development government. Vishweshwar Reddy retaliated on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over allegations of vote theft and said that Gandhi is making excuses before Bihar elections because he knows that he is going to lose.

Speaking to ANI, Reddy questioned the argument of tampering with EVMs and asked what was the need to “steal votes” if manipulation was possible. Reddy said, “After losing Maharashtra and Haryana, he blamed EVMs and said that they are wrong. Now they know that they are going to lose Bihar, so they are making such excuses before the election … If we can really tamper with EVMs, what do we need to steal votes?”

Earlier, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav claimed that thousands of people gathered to support the Bihar Adhikar Yatra, because the public is angry with the present government of Bihar due to corruption and forced recovery in many block offices and police stations. “The entire public of Bihar is angry with the present government. There has been increased corruption, forcible recovery in block offices and police stations has increased.” But they will form “corruption -free”, “crime free” government.

Meanwhile, Bihar assembly elections are scheduled to be held later this year. The main contest is between the current National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the grand alliance led by RJD. In the current Bihar Legislative Assembly with 243 members, there are 131 MLAs of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), including 80 of BJP, 45 of JDU, Hum (S) 4 and 2 independent candidates.
