The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two more terror operators allegedly involved in the bomb blast conspiracy in Delhi’s Red Fort area, taking the total number of people arrested in the case to 11.

Zameer Ahmed Ahnagar, resident of Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, and Tufail Ahmed Bhat, resident of Srinagar, have been formally arrested by the National Income Agency (NIA) for their active involvement in the conspiracy related to the Delhi bomb blasts. NIA investigation has revealed that both of them had provided weapons to the main accused in the Delhi bomb blasts.

Eleven people were killed and several injured in the blast that rocked the national capital on November 10, 2025. The main accused Omar Un Nabi was also killed in this deadly blast.

The NIA, which is investigating the case with an aim to uncover the entire conspiracy behind this heinous terrorist act, found that Zameer Ahmed and Tufail Ahmed were active overground workers (OGWs) of the Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH) terrorist organization.

The investigation by the NIA, working in coordination with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Haryana Police and other agencies, has also revealed that Zameer and Tufail were involved in the blast conspiracy and were also part of various other terrorist conspiracies.

“They were engaged in collecting arms and ammunition for use against the Indian state. The NIA has found this through extensive investigation and analysis of evidence,” the release said.

According to the findings of the National Anti-Terrorism Agency investigation, the Delhi blasts were hatched by Omar along with other accused Muzammil Ganai, Shaheen Saeed, Mufti Irfan, Adeel Ahmed Rather and five others, who provided shelter and logistical support to the key conspirators. These nine people have already been arrested from various places in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana,” the release further said.

This morning the Patiala House Court sent two accused in the Delhi blasts case, Tufail Ahmed Bhat and Jamir Ahmed Ahnagar, to the custody of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for 10 days.

According to the investigating agency, he is accused of hoarding arms and ammunition. Umar Un Nabi, Mufti Irfan Ahmed and Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather had given a rifle, a pistol and live cartridges to Zameer Ahmed Ahnagar. Both these accused were associated with the terrorist organization Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind.

The NIA had sought 15 days’ custody to get more specific information from the accused and uncover the larger conspiracy behind the terror activities.
