Patna. The swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Bihar may take place next week. According to media reports, Nitish Kumar and his cabinet can take oath once again on 19 or 20 November. PM Narendra Modi will also attend the swearing-in of Natish Kumar. It is believed that today or tomorrow Nitish Kumar may recommend dissolution of the old assembly. In the Bihar Assembly elections, under the leadership of Nitish, NDA has registered a landslide victory on 202 out of 243 seats. Whereas, only 35 MLAs of the opposition grand alliance have been able to reach the Bihar Assembly after getting elected.
The 18th Assembly is going to be formed after the election results in Bihar. The Election Commission will issue a notification in this regard today. With the release of the Election Commission’s notification, the Model Code of Conduct will also end in Bihar. Nitish Kumar will take oath as CM at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. There may be many Deputy CMs in Nitish’s government. The reason for this is that BJP, which is part of NDA, has become the largest party by winning 89 seats. Whereas, 19 candidates of Chirag Paswan’s LJP-R have reached the Assembly after winning. Due to this, Chirag’s party has also laid claim to the post of Deputy CM.
In the earlier government formed by Nitish Kumar, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha from BJP were made Deputy CMs. In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, only 1 MLA from Chirag Paswan’s LJP-R was elected. In such a situation, he had no claim on the post of Deputy CM. Chirag Paswan had met Nitish Kumar on Saturday itself. In such a situation, now it has to be seen which faces will hold important ministerial posts in the new government of Nitish Kumar. Let us tell you that Nitish Kumar will become the CM of Bihar for the 10th time. In this way he is going to set a new record. RJD will get the post of Leader of Opposition by getting the required 10 percent i.e. 25 seats in Bihar Assembly. Only Tejashwi Yadav will sit on this.
