Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday hit out at the RJD over its 15-year rule in Bihar and said people will not forget “Jungle Raj” and the conversation about it will continue for 100 years.
Interacting with BJP workers from poll-bound Bihar through the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Strong’ programme, Prime Minister Modi urged the youth of Bihar to gather at each booth and the elders of the region to recall old incidents.
He said, “The discussion of Jungle Raj is natural, it will last for 100 years. The people of Bihar will never forget it. This is the land of Chanakya. The people of Bihar will never forgive him. I would like to urge all the youth of Bihar to gather at every booth and ask the elders of that area to come and tell everyone about the past incidents. A program should be made to share their disturbing experiences with the new generation. Could.”
Prime Minister Modi also took a dig at the Grand Alliance, saying the people of Bihar call it ‘Lathbandhan’ and self-interest is paramount for these opposition parties, who ‘do not care about the youth of Bihar’. Accusing the RJD of “jungle raj”, Prime Minister Modi also alleged that in the past elections were won “with the help of Maoist terror”.
He said, “Those who call themselves ‘Gathbandhan’, whom the people of Bihar call ‘Lathbandhan’, they only know how to wield sticks and keep fighting. For ‘Lathbandhan’, their own interest is paramount. They do not care about the youth of Bihar. For decades, the youth of the country and Bihar suffered from Naxalism and Maoist terrorism. They even won elections with the help of Maoists. Naxalism and Maoist terror played a huge role in the destruction of Bihar.
The Prime Minister said that the NDA government has brought Bihar out of the darkness of Jungle Raj and into the new light of development. He said, “This Maoist terror did not allow schools, colleges or hospitals to open and destroyed those that were built. They did not allow industries to come… It is taking a lot of hard work to bring Bihar out of it. But we are doing it. We have worked very hard since 2014. NDA has brought Bihar out of the darkness of Jungle Raj and into the new light of development. today We are moving rapidly towards eliminating Naxalism, Maoism and terrorism in Bihar. It is our duty to secure the future of the youth of Bihar and we are working for it with full sincerity. Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases on 6th and 11th November. The results will be declared on 14th November.
