Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated India to win the Asia Cup final in Dubai for the five -wicket win over Pakistan and compared it to Operation Sindoor and said that the result was India’s victory.
India won the Asia Cup for the ninth time by defeating Pakistan by five wickets in the final with the help of Tilak Verma’s brilliant half -century. The Indian team, who was unbeatable throughout the tournament, also scored a hat -trick of victory against Pakistan in the tournament.
PM Modi wrote on ‘X’ on India’s historic victory, “Operation vermilion on the cricket field. The result is the same. Congratulations to our cricket players.”
In fact, after the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army had destroyed the terrorist bases in Pakistan by running Operation vermilion. Prime Minister Modi, citing the same, said that India has trampled Pakistan in cricket too.
