Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday targeted the central government, claiming that India’s energy security is in danger amid the West Asia conflict. Addressing the birth anniversary program of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder Kanshi Ram in Lucknow, Gandhiji said that today America asks India to buy gas and oil from Russia.

Rahul Gandhi said “Yesterday in Parliament I used the word ‘Epstein’ and the Speaker immediately intervened. I was talking about energy. I said gas cylinders are not available. Our energy security is in danger. Today America says we can buy gas and oil from Russia. America will ask if we can buy from Iran, Iraq or anyone else. This means that our energy security is in danger… The person you have appointed as Oil Minister, whose name appears in the ‘Epstein Files’ – He is a friend of Epstein. George Soros’ money has gone to his daughter’s company.

Furthermore, the Congress MP claimed that whenever he questioned the government in the Lok Sabha, his mike was deliberately switched off. Rahul Gandhi said, “I said in Parliament that the Modi government has compromised India’s energy security – the mic was switched off. As soon as I mentioned Modi’s name coming up in the Epstein case, the mic was switched off. I raised questions linking Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to Epstein – the mic was switched off. I raised questions about Soros’ money being used by his daughter.” Tried to talk about investment in the company – the mike was switched off. The essence of these hundred things, which cannot be suppressed – Narendra Modi has surrendered.”

Rahul Gandhi also reflected on the teachings of Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram and highlighted the importance of education and social inclusion. He said, “Before giving the speech, I was considering how Ambedkar ji used to talk about education. He used to stress on the importance of organization. And when Kanshi Ram ji used to visit Uttar Pradesh at night, he used to carry a pen with him… He also used to say that the pen should be made in such a way that 15 percent of the society Not only should the people get benefits, but 85 percent of the people should also be included in this process.”
