New Delhi. NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MP Supriya Sule has introduced the Right to Disconnect Private Member Bill in the Lok Sabha. This bill is important for those working in offices. Everyone’s eyes are on whether the Central Government gives its opinion in favor of Supriya Sule’s Right to Disconnect Bill. If this bill is passed by the Parliament, crores of employees will get great relief. They will get a chance to live their private life also. However, private member bills are not passed by Parliament. Governments only give their opinion about this bill.

In the Right to Disconnect Bill presented by Supriya Sule, it has been said that an authority will be formed for the welfare of the employees working in offices. This authority will protect the rights of the employees. There is a provision in the bill that the authority to be formed in the interest of the employees will decide the guidelines. It will also resolve disputes between the management and employees of the institutions. There is also an important provision in this bill that after completing the working hours, the employees will not be forced to respond to calls or e-mails made by the boss. If they do not answer the boss’s phone call or respond to his e-mail after finishing work and going home, then no action can be taken against the employee.
NCP MP Supriya Sule says that she has brought this bill to create a balance between a better life and a healthy work life. According to Supriya Sule, due to today’s digital culture, employees face difficulty in maintaining life and work life balance. Apart from the Right to Disconnect, Supriya Sule has also introduced two more bills. Before him, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor had introduced a private member’s bill for the welfare of employees. In which he has kept provisions for fixing working hours and right to disconnect. Tharoor says that 51 percent of employees in India work more than an average of 49 hours every week. Of these, 78 percent say that they face problems.
