In a debate on the FIR against those who gave provocative speeches, the anchor asked the President of Ulema Council Maulana Nadeemuddin, tell how many people have been FIRs. So Maulana became silent in the middle after counting the names of five Muslims. In fact, in the debate, Maulana had talked about unilateral action by counting the names of some Muslim leaders.
In a debate on ABP News, Anchor Rubina Dilek questioned Maulana about the recent FIR. On this Nadeemuddin said, “This country is run by the constitution and law, whoever gives hate speech, the law will do its job. But, the fringe element that was being talked about was the ideology of the BJP. The BJP never tried to rein in its leaders.”
He added, “Kriya has always been a reaction. Something was said from there, some from here, I say a lot should be talked about amongst themselves. On this, the anchor interrupted Maulana and said that so many FIRs are being done, such things will happen on you too.
After this, the anchor, while playing a quiz with Maulana, asked how many people have been FIRs. In response to this, Maulana became silent after counting the names of some Muslim leaders including Asaduddin Owaisi, Shadab Chauhan.
After this, Maulana talked about unilateral action, then the anchor gave the names of many Hindu leaders including Yeti Narasimhanand, Swami Jitendranand, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Anil Kumar Neema, Pooja Shakun Pandey, Pooja Priyamvada, Vinita Sharma, Bihari Lal Yadav, Kumar Divashankar. Said that action has been taken against them too, then why are you talking of unilateral action.
It is worth noting that after Friday prayers against the controversial statement made by BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma about Prophet Mohammad, protests have taken place in many states of the country including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh. Around 300 people have gathered outside Delhi’s Jama Masjid to express their protest.
