Events held across the district, names of women remained for the whole day
Mandsaur (Naiduniya Rep). Government and private programs were held across the district on Tuesday on International Women’s Day. Many organizations respected women. The whole day remained in the name of women. Along with women working in public life, women working in private and health sector were also honored. While a health camp was organized in the district hospital, the women and child development department honored the women who did excellent work in Kushabhau Thackeray auditorium.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. KL Rathore informed that on International Women’s Day, health check-up of working women, health workers and others was done in the district hospital. Health checkup was done for high blood pressure, sugar, oral cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer etc. In the health check-up, Dr. Ritu Sharma informed that every Thursday, women above 30 years of age are screened for cervical cancer free of cost in the OPD. In the case of cervical cancer, breast cancer, oral cancer, free treatment will be provided under the Ayushman Bharat Niramay Yojana. Those who have not got the Ayushman card made, they must get the Ayushman card made. Ayushman cards are made in Gramps, Common Service Centers and Public Service Centers etc.

Women who made remarkable contributions were honored
On International Women’s Day, a ceremony was organized by the Sahakar Bharati organization under the leadership of the organization’s women’s chief Seema Rathore. District NCC unit honored women
In Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Vidyalaya-2, NCC unit organized a program in honor of NCC girl cadets and teacher sisters.
