The Indian Army and the state police have achieved great success in a joint operation in Arunachal Pradesh. The joint operation carried out on Saturday busted the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-KYA) camp in Changlang district. During this, the army and police recovered a huge amount of ammunition and weapons.
Indian Army and state police carried out this operation in Changlang district. Let us tell you that the camps of the Socialist Council of Nagaland are located in very difficult areas. Despite this, the army and police found this rebel camp. Army and police have seized AK-47 rifles, one magazine, 50 rounds of ammunition, six detonators, three plastic explosives, suspected explosive powder and other munitions from these camps.
A statement issued about the operation said that the 14 Rajput Regiment of the Army and the Arunachal Pradesh Police carried out this joint operation. The weather was bad at the time of the operation and the location of the camp was also in an inaccessible area. According to Changlang district SP Mihin Gembo, the Indian Army and police had been conducting this operation since March 17 in an area of about 22 miles along the Miao-Vijayanagar road.
SP Mihin Gembo said the rebels had already left their place when the raid was carried out during the operation. The camp belonged to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-KYA) rebels. However, a huge cache of arms, ammunition and other items have been recovered from these camps. It is being told that these rebels were active in the area of Changlang for a long time.
According to the police, several groups of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-KYA) are still active in Changlang, Longding and Tirap districts of Arunachal Pradesh. They all work to spread chaos by making camps in remote areas away from settlements. However, due to the strictness of the army and police, there has been peace in these areas for a long time.
