New Delhi, February 25 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party’s national spokesperson RP Singh on Wednesday targeted Congress. He seriously accused Congress of not believing in the democratic process.

BJP spokesperson RP Singh while talking to IANS said that the Congress party’s thinking is clear that they do not believe in the democratic process, that is why they are threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He referred to the statement of Punjab Congress leader Brinder Singh Dhillon, in which he had allegedly spoken against PM Modi in an abusive and threatening tone. RP Singh called it ‘humiliating and threatening’ politics, contrary to Congress’s ‘love shop’ image.

The BJP spokesperson praised Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Israel and said, “Modi is the first Prime Minister of India to address the Israeli Parliament. This is a testament to the strength of India-Israel relations and the result-oriented policy. Both countries are going to sign several agreements in agriculture, technology, defense and other sectors. Our diplomacy is about delivery, which works in the national interest.”

Regarding the Union Cabinet’s approval for changing the name of Kerala to ‘Keralaam’, the BJP leader said that this was a long standing demand of the people of Kerala. The resolution was passed unanimously in the state assembly, on the basis of which the Center approved the proposal. Now the state will be known as ‘Keralaam’. Singh called it the strength of cultural and linguistic identity.

In the Bangladesh module case of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Delhi, the accused have been sent to police custody for 7 days, regarding which Congress MP Imran Masood has said that innocent people are being implicated in the name of terrorism. The BJP leader said that the Muslim youths being arrested are citizens of Bangladesh. If Masood is standing in favor of Bangladeshis, then Congress should introspect on this.

Father seeks information from police about traffic challans of future son-in-law before daughter's marriage Rayadupalem: A father in Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada district sought information from police about traffic challans against vehicles of his future son-in-law before his daughter's marriage to ascertain his sense of responsibility and driving skills. An official gave this information on Thursday. The police officer described this act as rare and deliberate, saying that the man found it more accurate to assess the character of his future son-in-law based on his behavior on the road, rather than gathering information in the traditional manner. "The man wanted to know whether his future son-in-law was involved in rash driving, drunken driving or repeatedly violating traffic rules. We appreciated his sense of responsibility," the officer said. According to the police, the man had lost his wife several years ago and raised his daughter single-handedly. He said that this father, after facing many difficulties, educated his daughter and made her an engineer. Having recently found a suitable match for his daughter, the father on Tuesday approached the Rayadupalem traffic police with the registration numbers of a car and a two-wheeler belonging to the future son-in-law. Police said that the man believed that a person's behavior while driving often reflects discipline, patience and a sense of social responsibility, so he inquired about the old challans before giving permission for the marriage. After investigation, police did not find any pending challans or serious traffic violations related to the vehicles. The officer said he was pleasantly surprised by the unusual request and appreciated the man's responsible and practical approach in finding a husband for his daughter.
