Congress will start a 3-month national campaign against price rise and examination scams.

New Delhi, June 11 (IANS). Congress announced a major movement across the country against inflation, unemployment, examination scams, social inequality and the foreign policy of the central government. The party decided to launch a massive public relations and protest campaign at the national level for the next three months, with instructions given to every Congress leader and worker to take to the field.

Information about this campaign was given by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal after a high-level meeting held at AICC headquarters on Thursday. Organizational strategies, upcoming movements and issues related to Rajya Sabha elections were discussed in detail in the meeting.

After the meeting, KC Venugopal said, “For the next three months, Congress will campaign at the national level. Every leader and worker of the party will go among the people and take to the streets to raise people’s issues.”

At the same time, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and said that today the country is facing serious challenges like inflation, unemployment, examination scams and social inequality. Incidents of paper leaks in NEET and various recruitment examinations and controversies related to the education system have shaken the confidence of millions of youth and their families. Rahul Gandhi personally met the affected students and youth and strongly expressed their voice before the country.

He also said that the institutions and systems which took decades to build are now being weakened. In such a situation, the responsibility of Congress is not limited only to political struggle, but it is also their duty to protect the Constitution, democracy and social justice.

Taking aim at the foreign policy of the Central Government, KC Venugopal said that three Indians have died amid the ongoing conflict in the Gulf region, but the government’s stand does not seem clear. He also claimed that the government’s haste regarding the India-US trade agreement could harm the interests of Indian farmers.
