New Delhi, May 29 (IANS). Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be on Lucknow tour on Saturday. During his visit, he will participate in the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Navy Gallantry Museum’.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh posted the information about participating in the program on social media platform X on Friday.
He wrote on X post that I will be in Lucknow on 30th May. I will attend the inauguration ceremony of ‘Navy Gallantry Museum’. I am eagerly waiting for it.
On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh Government Minister Jaiveer Singh took stock of the preparations for the programs related to the inauguration ceremony of the Naval Valor Museum under construction by the Tourism Department in Lucknow.
He described the newly constructed Naval Gallantry Museum as an inspiring symbol of bravery, patriotism and pride of the Indian Navy.
He said that he visited the Naval Valor Museum under construction by the Tourism Department in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow and inspected the preparations for the inauguration programs. This grand museum will be inaugurated by India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on May 30. This museum will become an inspiring heritage dedicated to the bravery, courage, discipline and national service of the Indian Navy. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country’s military heritage and respect for its brave soldiers have got a new identity. This museum will continue to inspire the coming generations with the spirit of patriotism, valor and sacrifice.
Let us tell you that this project is being constructed under the joint aegis of Indian Navy and Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department. The museum will showcase a number of genuine naval equipment associated with Indian Naval Ship Gomti, including equipment such as anchor, AK-726 medium range gun, CET-53M anti-submarine interception system, JIF-101 launcher, capstan drum, main mast and ship’s propeller.
Under the project, the Indian Navy’s iconic Tu-142 aircraft and SK-42B helicopter will also be installed in the open air museum. The museum will showcase naval history, maritime security and combat capability through modern technology through curation work.
