He termed the Election Commission’s decision to implement SIR in many states as BJP inspired. Akshay Yadav said, “The way SIR was implemented in Bihar before the elections, it was done at the behest of BJP. There, the ruling party was benefited by cutting off non-BJP votes. We had opposed it then and are doing so even today, because it is a method of vote theft.”
On the question of Pakistan declaring Salman Khan a terrorist, the MP said, “Pakistan always makes wrong statements. It should return Pakistan Occupied Kashmir to India, the people there are in bad shape. The Indian government should take it back.”
Speaking on the shortage of fertilizers, Akshay Yadav held the government responsible. He said, “There was no shortage of fertilizer in Firozabad, we had demanded it and the government had also made it available, but some people are sending it to other districts. This is the result of corruption and negligence of the government.”
On the question on the role of SP leaders in Bihar elections, he said that many senior leaders of the party, including national president Akhilesh Yadav, will campaign for the alliance.

On Tejashwi Yadav’s statement regarding the Waqf Bill, Akshay Yadav said, “Let the elections be held now, a lot of changes will be seen.” On the differences between Tejashwi and Tej Pratap, he said, “This is an old strategy of BJP, which works to weaken the opposition.”
