New Delhi, July 1 (IANS). BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana reacted to the letter written by 117 citizens of India and Pakistan to the Prime Ministers of both the countries, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement on the Dwarka-Vasant Kunj six-lane underground tunnel project and Ram Mandir offering issue.
117 prominent personalities of India and Pakistan have written a joint letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, appealing to choose the path of dialogue instead of confrontation between the two countries. In the letter, emphasis has been laid on creating an environment of peace and development in South Asia. On this letter, many prominent names from the Indian side including former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and RJD MP Manoj Jha are included. On behalf of Pakistan, 56 people including former Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri have signed.
Responding to this, BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana said that this is the mentality of Congress on India, they always stand with the enemy. Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti are parties that came out of Congress, they are merchants of death. And those who took the name of the people of Pakistan, their hands are stained with blood in Jammu and Kashmir. Where did this peace and peace come to their mind? Are they not feeling relieved by the destruction, devastation, lockdown, bloodshed and becoming orphans in Jammu and Kashmir?
Questioning, what do they want that a country like Pakistan, which has no stand of its own, which got independence along with us, did not create infrastructure. He committed brutality, created bloodshed within us, attacks like Pahalgam, brutality has no parallel in the world. How will the conversation and the bullet come together? Will water and blood collect? Our forces taught Pakistan a lesson under ‘Operation Sindoor’. The area of Jammu and Kashmir which is under illegal occupation of Pakistan, should not oppress the people there and should vacate it so that peace can be maintained. Then there will be talks with Pakistan.
On the Dwarka-Vasant Kunj six-lane underground tunnel project, he said that since PM Modi took charge of the country, the 12 years have been unmatched: developed India, startup-standups, road infrastructure, train infrastructure, technology infrastructure, power infrastructure, renewable energy infrastructure and human resources, we have become a big power in the whole world and will benefit a lot from this.
On Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statement that strictest action will be taken against the culprits in the Ram temple offering case and strict punishment will be given, Ghulam Ali Khatana said that legal action is definitely going on, strict steps have been taken and strict action will be taken.
