New Delhi, November 10 (IANS). In the second phase of Bihar, voting is on November 11 for 122 assembly seats. For this, the campaigning of electoral parties ended. Meanwhile, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday claimed to form the Grand Alliance government in Bihar.

He wrote, “Now we will end injustice, change Bihar through social justice, Dalits, Mahadalits, tribals, backward, extremely backward, economically weaker sections and minorities will get their rights! Women, farmers, youth, every section of the society will get economic upliftment. The people of Bihar have set out to change the image of the state!”
Kharge talked about returning the glory of Bihar and said that there is a guarantee to make this possible.
The Congress President also shared a photo, in which the election promises of the Grand Alliance have been mentioned. These include 200 units of free electricity, Rs 500 for gas cylinder, Rs 2,500 per month to women, one government job in every family, formation of SIT to recover the money stuck in Sahara and a promise of giving salary of Rs 30,000 to Jeevika Didis.
Apart from this, free bus service to women, pension of Rs 3,000 to disabled people, pension of Rs 1,500 to old people and free treatment up to Rs 25 lakh have also been promised.
Voting for the first phase of Bihar assembly elections took place on 6 November. In the first phase, voting took place for 121 seats of Bihar. According to Election Commission data, about 65.08 percent voting took place in the first phase held on November 6, with Samastipur recording the highest turnout of 71.74 percent. At the same time, the lowest voting percentage was 59.02 percent in the capital Patna.
While the leaders of the opposition grand alliance are calling a higher voting percentage as a sign of change in power, the leaders of the ruling NDA are considering it as a sign of Nitish Kumar’s strong comeback.
