Washington, February 5 (IANS). US President Donald Trump has claimed that he has not used an AI interface like ChatGPT, yet he feels it is very important. He also said that they are far ahead of China in terms of AI and are ready to invest more in this field in future.
While talking to American media outlet NBC News, he admitted that he has not used the AI tool but he knows everything about it. In response to a question asked about America’s layoff and America’s preparations for AI, Trump expressed his opinion on his preparations and admitted that he is far ahead of Beijing in this matter.
Trump said, “We are far ahead of China. In the AI race, America is far ahead not only of China but also of the entire world.”
He further said, “AI and automobile companies are building factories in America. AI needs a lot of electricity, so their plan is that every new factory will generate its own electricity.”
Claimed that AI, auto plants and other industries are being built on a large scale in America and the country is progressing in every field.
On the question of layoffs due to AI, Trump said, “It was said that the Internet will eliminate jobs, robots will eliminate jobs, everything will eliminate jobs and if you are smart, you end up doing very well.”
Along with this, the US President also said not to use AI tools. Admittedly, they have not used the much talked about AI interfaces like ChatGPT and Cloud. He said, “I really haven’t, but I know all about it. I think it’s very important.”
In a TV show broadcast on Wednesday night, Trump admitted that being the President of America is the most difficult job for him. He said, “Becoming President is the most dangerous job. I am worried about my safety, but this fear has to be removed from my mind.”
