New Delhi, January 20 (IANS). Union Minister JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari congratulated newly elected BJP National President Nitin Nabin at the party headquarters in Delhi. Nitin Nabin took charge as the National President of BJP.
Addressing party leaders and workers at the BJP headquarters in Delhi, JP Nadda said, “Many congratulations and best wishes to you (Nitin Nabin). Today is a very historic occasion when our young, energetic, talented Nitin Nabin is taking over as the National President of the world’s largest political party BJP. On behalf of myself and crores of workers, I congratulate him very much.”
The Union Minister said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the chairmanship of Nitin Nabin, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will bloom in Bengal in the times to come. We will form the government in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu. We will come back to power in Assam and we will give good results in Kerala also. We are moving ahead with this confidence.”
He said, “I have tried to fulfill the responsibilities as per my limited capabilities with the cooperation of all of you. While fulfilling this responsibility, if I have said anything that has hurt anyone’s sentiments, then I apologize for the same. Nitin Nabin will leave no stone unturned in taking this great party, the world’s largest party, forward with full strength. We will all support him together and take the party to new heights and we will see Lotus in those new places and states. We will feed where we have not yet succeeded.”
Union Minister JP Nadda further said, “The results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were not as per our expectations. These results surprised not only the party but also the general public of the country. A feeling of disappointment was created in the minds of the voters of the country. A feeling of resentment was created among the voters and you must have seen that the voters of the country have decided that in any upcoming election, they will give full blessings to PM Modi and will work for the progress of the party in the country.”
He said that I remember, after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the opposition was very confident about the Haryana elections. They were preparing to distribute sweets even before the results were announced. He did not know that the voters of the country and the voters of Haryana had decided to correct minor mistakes. He did exactly the same in Haryana elections. Similarly, we saw a record victory in Maharashtra under the leadership of PM Modi. Under your leadership, lotus blossomed in Delhi also and Bharatiya Janata Party government was formed in Delhi.
He said that Nitin Nabin, who is basically a worker, is mature on ideological background and has been MLA five times at a very young age and is currently also an MLA. He has been a minister in the Bihar government several times. As General Secretary of our Rashtriya Yuva Morcha, you got a chance to tour the entire country and you understood the entire country.
JP Nadda said, “You were in-charge of Sikkim and you were also in-charge of Chhattisgarh, where you made a huge contribution in bringing the BJP government. Such a young, energetic, talented personality has taken charge as the national president. Many congratulations to you, many best wishes.”
He said that I want to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who gave us the opportunity and strength to work keeping the party in mind at every moment and every occasion, because of which we were able to do this work. Despite being the prime servant of the country, despite being very busy, I would like to thank you for the contribution you have made in taking the party forward by paying attention to small details of the party.
