New Delhi, January 12 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the concluding session of the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 at the Bharat Mandapam. He highlighted the role of youth in Digital India and Developed India 2047. Youth from Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and Delhi had also come to listen to PM Modi. The enthusiasm among the youth was worth seeing due to the ideas given to them on various topics by PM Modi.
IANS talked to some youth. Ayushi Arya, who came from Bihar, said that it felt great to participate in the Vikas Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 program. Prime Minister Modi takes out his time for the youth and grand programs are also organized at this level. He puts forward his views before the youth. When I came here and heard him, my journey became worthwhile. PM Modi’s ideas were very good. I talked about women development. PM encourages Jen-ji a lot. Jen-ji has a very sharp mind.
He gave the idea that if we can think about a developed India, then why can’t we think about a developed state.
Shraddha Mishra, who came from Delhi, said that it felt good to hear PM Modi for the first time. Never thought that Prime Minister Modi would listen to us so attentively. He encouraged Gen-ji to move forward. It was a once in a lifetime experience. It felt great to stand on that podium. The Prime Minister himself was standing there. I think that was an incredible moment.
Dipansh Sundar Ghosh, who came from West Bengal, said that the Developed India Dialogue took place today. I also participated in 2025. I was not able to present my idea to the PM last year, but this time I presented my idea. He said that I am happy that I am one of those youth who were invited to the program. He said that all the things in PM Modi’s speech were good, but I think I liked the thing about self-reliant India very much. If we want to make India developed, we will have to give up our dependence on many things. That place has to be achieved so that the dream of developed India is definitely fulfilled.
Disha Goyal, who came from Odisha, said that it was a wonderful experience because the people whom we always considered our idols were truly inspiring. It was very valuable to meet him for the first time and get his suggestions. What I liked most was that the ideas we gave would not just remain ideas, they would also be converted into policies. There was a clear vision for youth power in PM Modi’s speech. India’s Gen-G can play a big role in nation building. Those whose mind is very developed, they also accomplish what they think. The thoughts of Prime Minister Modi and Swami Vivekananda are very good. Why are only English speaking people called educated? In other countries people feel proud of their local language, we should also feel proud of our local things. We are not separating from the world, but are protecting our belongings more.
Shivansh, who came from Goa, said that it felt good to hear Prime Minister Modi. Goa is a small state, I feel good that I represented my state on this stage. We can bring change with our thoughts. The PM emphasized on everyone’s suggestions. Prime Minister Modi is greatly influenced by the youth. PM talked about startups. When we told him that there is no funding in startups and no support from family either, he assured us to enter the field and the government is with us. It felt very good that we can fulfill the resolve of developed India.
