Lucknow, July 4 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Naveen sharply hit back at Akhilesh Yadav’s statement regarding alleged irregularities in the offerings of Ayodhya Ram temple. He said that those who kept bearing ill will towards Lord Ram and Ram temple for years are now shedding crocodile tears.
BJP National President Nitin Naveen was addressing journalists after visiting a tea shop and Hanuman temple and worshiping during his stay in Lucknow today. Taking aim at SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Naveen said that such people should stay away from matters related to the faith of Lord Ram.
Referring to the 2027 assembly elections, he claimed that the discussion about BJP’s victory in Uttar Pradesh has already started among the public and the state is moving rapidly towards becoming a developed state even before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Developed India’ resolution.
The National President said that Yogi Adityanath, the State President and the entire team are working together to make Uttar Pradesh ‘Uttam Pradesh’. I believe that Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a leading state of the country. Earlier, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on BJP over alleged irregularities in Ram temple offerings.
He alleged that ‘robbery’ is taking place in the offerings of Ram temple in Ayodhya and the whole matter has been exposed due to the controversy over distribution of offerings in the name of religion.
Akhilesh Yadav further said that those who have gone very far through the tunnel after making a vicious burglary and filling the sack, they should remember that where the underground passage ends, the truth will be waiting to punish them for their sins.
The SP President said that now the entire country has come to know about this matter. According to him, various organizations are also discussing this issue among themselves and raising questions at each other. He alleged that this incident has deeply hurt the faith and belief of crores of people.
