Lucknow, February 20 (IANS). America’s eminent Vedic scholar Dr. David Frawley met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the capital. He discussed Yoga, Ayurveda and Sanatan culture with the Chief Minister. Dr. Frawley, an admirer of the Chief Minister’s multidimensional personality, said that Yogi Adityanath is purifying politics.
Giving the example of Nath tradition, he said that this is paving the way for global welfare. The American scholar praised the Yogi government for returning the ancient glory of Ayodhya and said that the rejuvenation of Ayodhya is the way to return to the Vedas.
Dr. Frawley said that it was a great honor and privilege for me to spend time with CM Yogi Adityanath. Goraksh Peethadheeshwar Yogi is associated with the Nath tradition, which is linked to the ancient yoga culture and is keeping it alive in India. They are not only preserving these traditions but also expanding them globally. Besides, they are working for the health and welfare of body, mind and society. Yogi Adityanath is also purifying politics. All those traditions of India, which are relevant to the entire humanity, are gaining new energy through Yogi Adityanath.
Dr. David Frawley, elated after meeting CM Yogi, praised the ‘New Ayodhya’ and said that the rejuvenation of Ayodhya is a matter of great happiness. Darshan of Lord Shri Ram gives a very pleasant experience spiritually. Lord Ram is the symbol of the soul of India. They connect us with the Suryavansh and tie together all the religious traditions. Today the world is gradually losing its spiritual consciousness. In such a situation, innovation and revival of Vedas, Yoga, Ayurveda and other Indian traditions is extremely necessary in the current environment. At such a time, getting leadership like Yogi ji is a boon not only for India but for the entire world.
Dr. Frawley said that Yogi ji has brilliance because he is ‘Aditya’, associated with the Sun element. For self-knowledge we look towards Aditya and Sun is the basis of yoga. Spending even a few moments with Yogi ji is a memorable moment for life.
Dr. David Frawley, born in a Catholic family in Wisconsin (America), is counted among the leading thinkers of Hindutva at the international level. He has also studied Ayurveda for about a decade. He has written many books on Vedas, Hinduism, Yoga, Ayurveda and Astrology. In the year 2015, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Bhushan. In the same year, South Indian Education Society in Mumbai also honored Dr. Frawley with ‘National Eminence Award’ in recognition of his remarkable contribution in the field of Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedic Astrology.
