IPS Officer Daughter Suicide: A very shocking and sad news has come out from ‘Char Imli’, the most secure and high-profile VIP area of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Here, a 16-year-old minor daughter of a senior IPS officer committed suicide by hanging herself in the government residence. The deceased was a student of class 11th. It is being told that when this tragic accident happened, no one was present in the house.

Both the parents of the deceased student are senior officials of Madhya Pradesh government. His father Sanjeev Kanchan is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and is currently posted as AIG at Police Headquarters (PHQ). At the same time, his mother Renuka Kanchan is also in administrative service and is posted on the post of Registrar Gas Relief. This incident, which happened in such a secure VIP area, has created a stir in the administrative and police departments. As soon as the information was received, Habibganj police station immediately reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

Giving information about the case, SHO of Habibganj police station, Sanjeev Choukse said that the student lived with her family in a government bungalow located at Char Imli. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police forensic team and senior officers inspected the crime scene. Police conducted a thorough search of the room where the incident took place, but no suicide note was recovered from there. The police have also closely examined the student’s books, school bag and other personal belongings to find any clue as to the reason behind her suicide, but at present nothing suspicious has been found there.

The cause of death is completely unknown as no suicide note was found in the room, which has confused the police. Now the police is resorting to technical investigation to uncover this mystery. The police is trying to find out whether the student was suffering from any kind of mental stress or depression? To get to the bottom of the matter, the police is preparing to interrogate the deceased’s close relatives, school friends and her friends, so that it can be clear whether there was any mental pressure on her regarding studies or anything else. At present, the police is waiting for the detailed post-mortem report and forensic investigation report of the mobile, only after which the real cause of death can be revealed.
