Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave a big message at Doon Medical College today—a message that is not just about jobs, but about transparency and trust. CM Dhami handed over appointment letters to 1456 candidates in a grand ceremony, of which the largest number was 1347 Assistant Teachers (LT). On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the newly appointed youth and expected them to become not just government employees but builders of the bright future of the state.

“Jobs doubled in four years”: Emphasis on transparent system
Chief Minister Dhami highlighted the achievements of his government on the occasion, the main focus of which was merit and transparency.
He said that in the last four years, more than 26,000 youth have been employed in government jobs in the state. The CM claimed that this number is more than twice the total number of jobs created during the tenure of the previous governments after the formation of the state.
Quick action on paper leak: “Justice with youth”
Along with stressing on transparency, the Chief Minister referred to the recent cheating scandal at an examination center in Haridwar and how the government took immediate action.
The CM said: “As soon as this matter came to light, we arrested the accused without any delay, formed the SIT, and also decided to quash the paper by immediately recommending a CBI investigation on the demand of the youth to protect the interests of the youth.” He said emotionally that he himself went to the protest site and met the youth and assured to accept all their just demands, which makes it clear that the interest and trust of the youth is the biggest priority of the government.
Education Minister’s message: “Service in difficult areas is the real penance”
Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat welcomed the newly appointed teachers and reminded them of an important responsibility. He said that the process of appointments will continue in the education department and soon there will be appointments in BRP, CRP, basic teachers and class IV also.
Addressing the teachers, he clarified that appointments are being given mostly in remote areas. He said that every teacher has to compulsorily serve for some years in remote areas, because real change and nation building happens only in those remote places where there is lack of facilities.
This appointment distribution ceremony was not just a government event, but symbolized a new beginning for the youth of Uttarakhand—where merit and honesty were given the highest regard.
