Uttarakhand News: Candidates appearing in the re-examination of NEET (UG)-2026 in the state will be provided free travel facility in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation buses. Candidates who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand will get the benefit of this facility by showing the admit card of NEET (UG)-2026. This facility will be available to the candidates 02 days before the examination and 02 days after the end of the examination.
The state government has decided to provide free travel facility in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation buses to the candidates of the state appearing in the re-examination of NEET (UG)-2026. In this regard, orders have been issued by Secretary Transport Shri Brijesh Kumar Sant to Managing Director Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. According to the order issued, this facility will be allowed only to the candidates who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand state. Which will be valid only on the basis of admit card issued by NEET (UG)-2026. This facility will be valid only for ordinary class buses operated by Uttarakhand Transport Corporation and the route nearest to the examination centre.
Under this facility, from 02 days before the date of examination till the date of examination, candidates will be able to travel free of cost from their home place or current stay to the examination centre. For returning from the examination centre, the return journey to your home place or current address of residence will be valid within 02 days from the date of completion of the examination.
