PM Modi Odisha Visit 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today has given a gift of development projects worth Rs 50,000 crore to Odisha on 27 September 2025 i.e. Saturday. Along with this, he also launched indigenous BSNL 4G network. He has given the green signal to the Amrit Bharat Express between Brahmapur and Udhna (Surat).
PM Modi then addressed a huge youth conference in Brahmpur, in which he said, ‘Today we are seeing that Odisha is moving fast at the speed of double engine. Today, once again, work on projects worth thousands of crores is going to start for the development of Odisha, the development of the country. With this, BSNL’s indigenous 4G services were launched.
Our country depends on foreign technology – PM Modi
PM Modi said that there was a time when the whole world was moving in the field of telecom with 2G and 3G technology, then India was far behind. He reminded that many things were written on social media at that time and our country depended on foreign technology in this region.
He felt proud and said, ‘We are very proud that today our indigenous efforts have created new history. BSNL has developed 4G technology and India has registered its name in the list of 5 countries in the world which have completely indigenous telecom technology.
Our effort to serve the poor, Dalits and tribals – Prime Minister
PM Modi said that the government is constantly working fast for the better life of the poor, Dalits and tribals. He said, ‘Our effort is to serve the poor, Dalits and tribals. Our government has so far given pucca houses to the poor for 4 crores. In Odisha, houses have been approved for new 50,000 people, while thousands of new houses have been approved for tribal brothers.
Direct rail service connecting Surat and Odisha a big step- Prime Minister
PM Modi said that the start of direct rail service connecting Surat and Odisha is being seen as a big and historical step for the people of both states. He said, ‘Your association with Surat is also necessary because after Bengal, the most Oriya people live in Surat. Now the start of direct rail service will give great help to passengers.
Odisha is moving beyond the speed of double engine- PM Modi’s voice in Jharsuguda

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today visited Odisha on 27 September 2025 i.e. Saturday. He left New Delhi in a special Air Force special aircraft at 9:20 am and landed at Jharsuguda Airport at 11:10 am. The Prime Minister attended the road show of about 2 km from the airport, in which more than 10,000 people and cultural teams were present on both sides of the barricade for his brilliant welcome.
PM Modi launched 50,000 crore projects
PM Narendra Modi reached Jharkhuguda on a tour of Odisha. Here he launched the development projects worth Rs 50,000 crore and will also address a huge youth conference in Brahmpur, where he will communicate with the youth. At the same time, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda is on a tour of Kerala on Saturday.
