‘No one in the country takes Rahul Gandhi’s words seriously’
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reacted sharply to Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s statement regarding Uttarakhand. He said that no one in the country takes Rahul Gandhi’s words seriously and perhaps even he himself does not know what he says? Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “Nobody in the country takes Rahul Gandhi’s words seriously. After coming into politics, his party launched and re-launched him several times, but even after so many years, he has not been able to establish himself.”
BJP’s counterattack on comments on army and soldiers
He further said that the way Rahul Gandhi gives statements regarding our soldiers, the people of Uttarakhand will never accept it. “It is understandable if he opposes the Prime Minister and our party, but he has started targeting the army and the country,” Dhami said. Referring to General Bipin Rawat, the country’s first Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), the Chief Minister said that he was the pride of Uttarakhand and made the entire country proud. He alleged that Congress leaders had also made inappropriate comments about General Rawat, which people have not forgotten.
He said that Rahul Gandhi has been making such statements for many years, and the people of Uttarakhand do not take his statements seriously. Let us tell you that Rahul Gandhi was going to go to Almora on May 4, where he had to address a public meeting, but due to bad weather, his helicopter could not land, and he returned back to Pantnagar.
