India vs Australia: The first T20 match was to be played between India and Australia on 29 October at Manuka Oval, Canberra. Although this match was canceled due to rain, despite this some positive signs also emerged for the Indian team. Captain Suryakumar Yadav, who was struggling to score runs in T20 for a long time, appeared in his old form in this match. During this period, Surya also completed his 150th T20 six, which is a big achievement for his performance. This sign is encouraging for Indian cricket fans because Suryakumar’s batting is considered very important for the team in T20.
The excellent form of Gill and Suryakumar gave confidence to the T20 team.
At the same time, Shubman Gill also showed his ability in this match. Gill’s performance in the recent ODI series in Australia was not special. In that series, Gill scored only 43 runs in three matches, which also attracted criticism. But in this T20 match, he proved with his strength and technique that he is still a reliable player for the team. The match not being played due to rain could not have any impact on the form and mental preparation of the players of the Indian team. The performance of Suryakumar Yadav and Shubhman Gill made it clear that the team still has a strong batting position. These signals are very important for the team management, especially for the upcoming T20 series and international matches.

This match also showed that the Indian team is maintaining the balance of new and old players. Captain Suryakumar Yadav’s return to form and Shubman Gill’s increasing confidence can open up many opportunities for the team in the future. The fans of the team are also excited by these signs and are hoping that the Indian batsmen will perform strongly in the upcoming matches.
The team got positive signals from the unbeaten innings of Suryakumar and Gill.
In the first T20 match played in Canberra, the Indian team scored 97/1 in only 58 balls (9.4 overs). In this short game, captain Suryakumar Yadav and vice-captain Shubman Gill gave positive signs for the team with their unbeaten innings. Suryakumar Yadav regained his lost rhythm and played a brilliant inning of 39 not out in 24 balls. At the same time, Shubman Gill provided excellent support to the captain by scoring 37 runs in 20 balls. The batting of both made it clear that the Indian team’s batting is now returning to form. But due to continuous rain, this match could not be completed at Manuka Oval in Canberra and the first T20 between India and Australia was cancelled.

Suryakumar’s form was weak
Before this match, Suryakumar Yadav’s form was a bit shaky. Despite the strike rate of 105.26, only 100 runs were scored in his last 11 innings. So far, he has scored a total of 330 runs in 20 innings, in which the scores of the innings were like this: 58, 26, 8, 29, 8, 75, 21, 4, 1, 0, 12, 14, 0, 2, 7*, 47*, 0, 5, 12, 1. In T20 International, Suryakumar was not able to score a half-century for 14 consecutive innings, due to which questions were being raised on his form. His unbeaten inning of 39 runs in this match showed that now his bat is back in the right rhythm again.
The schedule of the 2025 T20 series between India and Australia is as follows. The first T20 match was to be played in Canberra on 29 October, but it was canceled due to rain.
