New Delhi, November 10 (IANS). According to the information given by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions on Monday, under the nationwide DLC Campaign 4.0 being run from 1 to 30 November, a mega camp will be organized by the Office of the Controller General of Defense Accounts on 11 November 2025 at the Air Force Auditorium, Tambaram, Chennai.

Pension Secretary and senior officials of Pensioners Welfare Department will visit this camp. In this camp, pensioners will be assisted in submitting their life certificates through different digital modes. Will help in Aadhaar record updation on behalf of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and resolve technical problems related to it.

Earlier, on November 5 this month, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh launched the Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0. He also got his own digital life certificate generated at the National Media Centre. This example was introduced to demonstrate the transparency, ease and speed of the DLAC process.

The campaign targets two crore pensioners across over 2,000 cities and reflects the government’s commitment towards digitally empowering pensioners.

According to the information given by the Ministry, special attention is being given to super-senior and differently-abled pensioners through the doorstep DLC service of India Post Payments Bank (Department of Posts). With this, 78.26 lakh DLCs have been prepared so far.

The campaign is bringing together CGDA, banks, India Post Payments Bank, UIDAI, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), NIC and pensioners’ welfare associations to ensure digital inclusion.

Interaction sessions of Secretary (P&PW) with pensioners have been planned at Chennai Mega Camp. Around 1,000 pensioners from different departments are expected to participate in this camp.
