AI Impact Summit is scheduled to start on 16th February in the capital Delhi. AI Impact Summit 2026 is one of the world’s largest global meetings on Artificial Intelligence. It will be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi till February 20. Many leaders of the world including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, French President Emmanuel Macron and Brazilian President Lula da Silva will participate in it. Sundar Pichai, Sam Altman, Jensen Huang, Bill Gates and CEOs of many big tech companies will also participate. Nearly 10,000 foreign delegates and more than 150,000 registrations have been received from more than 30 countries for the summit. Let us know what will change for the people of Delhi and what will remain normal.

What will be open and what will remain closed?

The biggest relief is that this time there will be no strict restrictions like G20.

Schools, colleges and offices will remain open as usual.

There will be no lockdown like situation in the market.

Board exams are starting from 17th February, hence the administration has made special arrangements around the exam centers so that the students do not face any problem.

Security and traffic plan
Strict security arrangements have been made during the summit.

More than 10,000 policemen will be deployed.

Around 5,000 traffic police will manage the traffic.

The entire area is divided into 10 zones and 22 sectors.

Special surveillance will be maintained around Bharat Mandapam.

Where will there be restrictions on traffic flow?
There will be a ban on VVIP movement in hotels where foreign guests will stay, like Taj, ITC Maurya, Oberoi, Le Meridien, etc., and on the airport route. Traffic may slow down for some time on Sardar Patel Marg, Shanti Path, Teen Murti Marg, Prithviraj Road and India Gate Circle. However, the traffic police will give real-time updates on social media.

Entry and other arrangements
Entry into Bharat Mandapam will be available only through QR code pass. A separate ‘AI Impact Summit Cell’ has been created to look after security and coordination. Ambulances will also be deployed on VVIP routes. Special facilities will also be available for disabled people.

Common people should know these things in advance:
If you are going to Central Delhi, then check the traffic updates first.
Students appearing for exams should leave home early.
During this time, using metro can be a better option.

Overall, the AI Impact Summit 2026 will bring a vibrant atmosphere to Delhi, but efforts have been made to ensure that daily life is not significantly impacted.
