New Delhi. India has slammed China in another region. For the first time, smartphone exports from India to America have become so much that it has left China behind. China has been left behind due to increasing smartphone manufacturing from US company Apple in India. According to the report of Canalis, a research organization, the export of smartphones from India increased by 240 per cent in the second quarter of 2025.
According to a canalis report, smartphone exports from India to America have now increased to 44 percent. Whereas, in the year 2024 it was only 13 percent. China exported 61 per cent smartphones to the US in the second quarter of 2024, but in the second quarter this year, China has been able to export only 25 per cent of the smartphones to the US. According to the research institution, the US company Apple is now making a large number of original models of iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 in India. The Pro model of Apple iPhone 16 is also assembled in India. However, most of the sets of iPhone 16 Pro are still being assembled in China.
Canalis has said in her report that brands like Samsung and Motorola of North Korea are also selling smartphones in India and selling them in America. The report states that Samsung still makes his phone in Vietnam. Whereas, most of Motorola smartphones are made in China. According to data given by the research institution, Samsung and Motorola smartphones are sold less than Apple in the US. This report of Canalis is special in this sense, as US President Donald Trump had asked Apple CEO Tim Cook to make his company’s iPhone iPhone in America and China in America. Whereas, Apple had earlier said that the work of getting iPhone assembled in India is going to increase.
