New Delhi, November 16 (IANS). Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, during his visit to Korea, on Sunday said that India’s youth power and Korean technology is a good mix and will benefit both the countries.
Puri, who is on a visit to South Korea’s capital Seoul, said on social media platform
Puri further said, “They (Indian professionals and students) spoke passionately about their dreams and enthusiasm for India’s growth and development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
During the visit, Puri interacted with top executives of several South Korean companies and explored opportunities for partnership between India and Korea, especially in shipbuilding.

The Union Minister further said that it is the right time when big shipbuilding companies to meet the global demand join hands with India.
“We will not only recover the cost of our ships in 5 years, but will also establish India as a global maritime shipping hub,” Puri said.
The Union Minister said that Korean shipping companies have the knowledge and capacity. At the same time, India has the demand, skilled manpower and right policies to turn this into a successful partnership with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
